Completely redesigned from the ground up, the new 2012 Ozone C4 has gone back to its roots. Back is that feeling of grunt and the the joy of flying a pure 'C' kitelooping machine.
The only criticism of the 2011 C4 was that it was so smooth and so refined that it had lost its "mongrel". The designers went back to the original 2010 design and took it to pieces and rebuilt it for the new 2012. Power on demand, that feeling of 'edgyness', the fast looping looping ability, the moderate bar pressure that lets you know where the kite is at all times, all of the these characteristics are back making this the best C4 yet
Leave it in freeride mode and it is an agile, fast, smooth and powerful kite when ridden hard and fast, and yet is a pussy cat to play with when you take it easy. The new C4 drives through turns with a bit more power for the wildest kiteloops, and the kite has a touch more bar pressure for better feel. A brand new mega mouth inflate/deflate valve inflates and deflates the kite at least twice as fast as previous years and the new Contact Bar is awesome with a shade more depower, an adjustable new cleat for the trim, and a new stainless slider for the depower line to smoothly slide over making the trimmer easier to operate.
The new C4 is a perfect second or third kite for advancing freestylers or for freeriders wanting to meddle in freestyle and have a kite capable of it all when needed, but still cruisy and fun to freeride with. The New C4 is a blast and an evolution in the future of fun freestyle kites.
