Jun 13, 2008 · - I´ll be going to Kona and possibly to Maui, Hawaii on October about 20 days. I want to know if it´s any beach where i can do kitesurfing with not much waves. I´ve a Rebel 10mts 08, i´m not an expert, just do some tricks, jump and starting to un-hoock.

Feb 15, 2007 · Kona's aren't all that predictable and I understand can shut off along with the thermal winds suddenly. Bottom line, I wouldn't focus on kiting when visiting the Big Island. There is so much more to see and do that is unique to the place.
