    Mar 17, 2009 · Love kiting in winter and love kiting in the rain. My only advice: Don`t go out too far, the wind can die (or double in speed) in a matter of seconds. Keep an eye out for the clouds, a big change in the clouds usually means a chang in the wind.

    Feb 03, 2011 · No problem kiting in the rain. I've done it many times. A wet kite flys a little slower but no big deal. I would suggest though when you pack up get it dry asap otherwise you'll get mould all over it and it's impossible to remove. If that's not possible dump it in salt water.

    Dec 07, 2019 · i've kited in the rain hundreds of times. It's fun if the wind isn't too strong. Once it gets up to 30-40 knots I have to quit because rain feels like bullets on your face. Just rig go out see if you have fun. If it's fun do it again if not, then maybe kiting in the rain isn't for you.
