By anonymous , 03-05-2005 Waves of August - Mykonos has ONLY one small beach where you can catch a tiny but steady wave. The reef is very shallow. And the wave needs a lot of wind power to start working.I would not go to Mykonos for surf.Go to Crete, West Pelloponisos, Naxos Rhodos, Chios.Remember waves are generated ONLY with high northern winds.
